Palm Wax Candles

All of our pillar candles are made with 100% palm wax. The use of palm wax is a fairly new way of making candles, however, it is becoming a popular choice for candle lovers to purchase. It offers the same benefits as a soy wax candle; palm wax is all natural with no additives, holds fragrance and burners longer, and is more healthy for you and the environment while burning.

Palm wax is a renewable resource obtained from the Oil Palm tree (pictured left) in Southeast Asia. In an oil mill, the oil is extracted from the fruit that the palm produces, and then sterilized, clarified and purified into crude palm oil.  The crude oil is the sent off and processed for uses for cooking oil, soaps, non-dairy creamers, and now Palm Wax. 

The difference between a palm wax and soy wax candle is the appearance.  A soy wax candle is very smooth.  A palm wax candle is also smooth, but creates a crystal like design throughout the entire candle.  It is very decorative, and enhances the beauty of a candle.
